Mar 02, 2015 (newstodate): Only four IATA carriers on Sweden's top-10 list managed to grow their cargo volumes in January 2015.
Performing the best, growth-wise, was #7, Korean Air Lines with 399 tonnes after rising 59.7 percent, y-o-y.
Second-best in growth terms was #9, British Airways with an increase by 5.64 percent to 355 tonnes, while #6 Thai Cargo was up 1.28 percent to 432 tonnes and Qatar Airways rose modestly by 0.96 percent to 365 tonnes.
Topping the list was SAS Cargo with 1,022 tonnes but down 24.81 percent, followed by #2 Lufthansa Cargo that also dropped 29.64 percent to 771 tonnes, and #3 KLM Cargo, down no less than 48 percent to 627 tonnes.
Emirates, #4 on the list, was down 24.47 percent to 585 tonnes, followed by #5 Finnair Cargo that lost steam by 6.3 percent, to 573 tonnes.
At the bottom of the Top-10 list came Singapore Airlines Cargo with 300 tonnes, down 3.86 percent, y-o-y.
The total IATA export airfreight market in Sweden fell 20.34 percent to 6,893 tonnes in January 2015.
