Mar 13, 2015 (newstodate): SkyGreece Airlines and Bulgaria's BH Air have announced the formation of a strategic JV to boost their position in Eastern Europe and in the Balkans for direct flights to North America.
Through the cooperation, the two carriers will utilize their respective hubs to feed traffic between SkyGreece Airlines' Transatlantic flights and BH Air's traffic network in Eastern Europe and the Balkan region.
SkyGreece, based at Athens International Airport, was set up in 2012 by Greek and Canadian businessmen, and the carrier now has offices in New York City, Toronto, and Montreal.
Flights to Zagreb, in Croatia, will commence from June 22, 2015, flights to Montreal and Toronto will start in May 2015, and the opening of flights to New York are to be announced shortly.
