Mar 05, 2015 (newstodate): The Danish company Zebra Group has picked logistics provider DSV to support its dynamic Tiger store development.
Growing from one to 415 Tiger stores over only few years, the Tiger concept is now spreading also to the USA after having recently set foot in the Japanese market, building on the European success.
In the next five years, DSV will be handling almost all logistics and transport for Tiger in Europe, Asia and USA.
Tiger will break ground in USA with the opening of a new store in New York in May 2015, and DSV is already in place with a new logistics facility in Edison, New Jersey, to serve the coming expansion in the US market.
-If we call tomorrow and tell DSV that we want a warehouse in Singapore, we expect them to have it ready for business within 20 weeks. It has to be a plug&play solution and by repeating the processes, we will minimise the risk, says Lars Syberg, Tiger Global Supply Chain Director.
