Mar 10, 2015 (newstodate): The Czech ACMI and charter operator Travel Service Airlines is building up its aircraft fleet.
In July 2014, the carrier placed orders for delivery of four Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, two of which are slated for delivery in 2019 with the remaining pair to follow by mid-2020, all on a leasing contract with GECAS.
Now, Travel Service has again digged into the pocket to order an additional two Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, to be delivered in spring 2018 and 2019 on a leasing contract with ALC.
In the fleet of Travel Service are now two Airbus A320-200, two Boeing 737-700, and 15 Boeing 737-800 aircraft placed with subsidiaries in Poland, Hungary and Slovakia as well as operating for charter airlines and its own charter arm, Smartwings.
