March 24, 2015 (newstodate): Air Croatia, the Croatian start-up airline with first flights scheduled for April 2, 2015, is to put Budapest Airport on its route map from the start.
The carrier will be offering three weekly rotations on the route between Zagreb and Budapest, using an ATR42 on an ACMI contract with Denim Air.
The carrier was originally planning to start scheduled operations in summer 2014, but this was postponed to December 18, 2014 and subsequently postponed a second time until April 2, 2015.
Air Croatia has earlier been providing charter flights to Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo and Helsinki.
