Mar 17, 2015 (newstodate): After a pause, China Cargo Airlines is soon returning services to the Danish market.
Suspending flights since the start of the Chinese New Year, China Cargo Airlines will be back from March 25, 2015, but with a reduced frequency.
China Cargo Airlines will be offering three weekly flights while cutting the Monday flight earlier in the schedule.
The carrier first launched services with MD-11F freighters to Copenhagen Airport in January 2007, but announced its decision to pull-out from June 1, 2012.
The decision was, however, quickly overturned before that date arrived, and services eventually increased to four weekly rotations between Shanghai Pudong Airport and Copenhagen Airport using Boeing 777F with capacity to carry 100 tonnes on each flight in and out of Copenhagen, accruing to some 3,500 tonnes of cargo per month with full loads.
China Cargo Airlines is handled by WFS at Copenhagen Airport while Cargo Care serves as the airline's cargo GSSA in the Nordic markets.
