Mar 16, 2015 (newstodate): The gigantic AN-225 freighter has paid two visits to Norway's Lakselv Banak Airport earlier this month.
Behind the operation was Chapman Freeborn that leased in the aircraft from Volga-Dnepr to fly in spare parts for the oil and gas company ENI Norway's oil drilling platform that is underway from South Korea to Hammerfest, in Norway.
The over-size equipment for the platform weighed 80 tonnes per flight and the flights from South Korea required an en-route stop at Novosibirsk, in Russia.
