Mar 16, 2015 (newstodate): Latvia's Riga Airport cannot avoid seeing statistics significantly down all through 2015.
As the unusual ISAF traffic winds down after the Western forces' retreat from Afghan combat missions, the traffic has returned to normal as seen also in February statistics on cargo at Riga Airport.
A total of 1,510 tonnes of cargo and mail was handled at Riga Airport during the month, down 43.3 percent, y-o-y.
Totals included 956 tonnes of cargo and 563 tonnes of mail.
During this year's first two months, the airport has thus handled 2,803 tonnes of cargo and mail, which is 37.9 percent down on last year.
