Mar 25, 2015 (newstodate): While s basic uncertainly still reigns around the future ownership - and financing - of Air Lituanica, the carrier is preparing for a busy summer with increased flight activity.
Air Lituanica plans to go up to 59 weekly departures from Vilnius growing its expectation for passenger volumes during the summer schedule to 150,000 passengers, 50 percent up on last summer.
Among the items on its list for summer 2015 is an increase of the number of flights to Amsterdam Airport from five to seven weekly rotations, flights to Munich will gradually increase from four to seven per week and as of April 30, 2015, Air Lituanica will launch direct flights to Hamburg with three weekly rotations
Also part of the summer 2015 schedule, the direct routes from Vilnius to Prague and to Billund Airport will return to the regular flight schedule for this summer season.
