Feb 27, 2015 (newstodate): As Sweden's IATA export airfreight market dipped by 20.34 percent, y-o-y, in January 2015, only few Top-10 IATA forwarders remained unscathed.
#1 as always, DHL Global Forwarding managed to grow volumes marginally by 0.38 percent, y-o-y, to 1,800 tonnes, while #2 Geodis Wilson dipped 28.36 percent to 1,373 tonnes, and #3 Schenker fared even worse, down 56.32 percent to 469 tonnes.
At the bottom as #10, Panalpina took the largest blow by dropping 63.52 percent to 139 tonnes, while newcomer to the list as #9, ITS was up 79.56 percent to 159 tonnes.
The only other top-10 IATA agent to note positive growth in January 2015 was #5, UPS that grew volumes by 46.78 percent, y-o-y, to 415 tonnes.
Together, volumes by IATA forwarders in Sweden were 6,8903 tonnes in January 2015.
