Feb 22, 2015 (newstodate): In the air since June 2010, the Slovak carrier and ACMI provider AirExplore is amid a fleet renewal.
On February 2, 2015, the carrier took in its third Boeing NG aircraft, a Boeing 737-800, formerly operated by the LCC carrier Norwegian.
The first Boeing 737-800 aircraft joined the fleet on October 10, 2014, followed by a second aircraft on January 18, 2015.
In summer 2014, the carrier operated flights for customers including Ryanair, Vueling, Tunisair and Air France as well as closing several long-term contracts with airlines.
One of these ACMI contracts was landed with Palau Pacific Airways from November 2014 when one of the Boeing 737-800 aircraft was allocated to provide flights to a range of destinations in the region.
In the fleet of AirExplore are still four Boeing 737-400 aircraft due for replacement as the NG renewal projects continues.
