Feb 22, 2015 (newstodate): Hungary's Budapest Airport saw its first-ever Boeing 777F freighter charter operation in January 2015.
Behind the operation was the charter broker Chapman Freeborn on behalf of NEC Logistics.
The Boeing 777F was selected by Chapman Freeborn after a feasibility analysis that identified the aircraft as the most economical solution for transportation of the large-volume consignment comprising 25 tonnes of satellite dishes destined for Bangladesh, where they will be used to expand the country's mobile telephony networks.
Emirates SkyCargo was contracted by Chapman Freedorn to provide the aircraft capacity for the operation.
