Feb 19, 2015 (newstodate): One Fokker 50 aircraft has left the Swedish carrier Amapola for a warmer environment.
The aircraft has been placed with the Mexican carrier MayAir and will now provide regional flights from Cancun with tourist traffic by Cancun Travel Concepts that is also behind MayAir.
The sale of Amapola's last remaining passenger Fokker 50 was arranged by Skyworld Aviation on behalf of Largus Aviation AB of Sweden.
In the fleet of Amapola are now 12 Fokker 50 freighter aircraft including the latest addition of two Fokker 50 with large cargo doors, delivered in 2014 and earlier this year.
