Dec 01, 2015 (newstodate): Starting from June 26, 2015, Wizz Air launched flights between Tuzla and Oslo Torp Airport in Norway. It proved a short-lived success.
After only this brief period, Wizz Air performed its last flight on the route on November 23, 2015, and the service will not be returned in 2016.
Tuzla Airport was opened for commercial air traffic in 1998 but was unsuccessful in attracting airlines until Wizz Air set up traffic to Malmoe Airport in Sweden in 2013.
Later Wizz Air allocated one Airbus aircraft to Tuzla Airport as its 20th base opened in June 2015 with services to nine destinations.
Wizz Air remains so far the only carrier at Tuzla Airport to provide year-round services
