Dec 15, 2015 (newstodate): Finnair has now taken delivery of its second Airbus A350 aircraft that landed in Helsinki Airport on December 14, 2015.
The delivery will enable Finnair to operate the route between Helsinki and New York JFK with Airbus A350 aircraft during the period during the period January 12-20, 2016, replacing the Airbus A330-300 currently used.
The 3rd Airbus A350 for Finnair has now completed two of three test flights before its final customer approval flight and will join Finnair also before the end of this year.
A 4th Airbus A350 for Finnair has performed its first test flight but will arrive only in early January 2014, with a 5th aircraft still to perform its first test flight.
