Dec 17, 2015 (newstodate): The Nordic express delivery company Jetpak has named a new CEO to lead the company that is currently expanding its geographical catchment area.
Stepping down in favor of a new position outside the company is Henrik Ringmar who leaves his chair to Kenneth Marx with effect from January 1, 2016.
Mr Marx comes with a background as Head of Supply Chain Management at the Dutch company Mediq Nordic & Baltics since December 2014, but prior to that he served with SAS Cargo in various positions in 1988-2009, when he was last SAS Cargo President and CEO for more than five years.
Expanding beyond its Nordic base in summer 2015, Jetpak entered the Luxembourg and UK markets by launching fast door-to-door deliveries between the UK, the Nordics and the rest of Europe from July 1, 2015.
Starting from September 2015, Jetpak also introduced its logistics services to and from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania as a further step in its strategy of expansion.
From December 7, 2015, the company further expanded its offerings by entering into a co-operation with Flybe, Europe's largest regional airline.
