Dec 18, 2015 (newstodate): The Danish charter and ACMI carrier Jet Time has announced a shift in top management, appointing a new Managing Director.
Taking up his new position from January 11, 2016, Teddy Zebitz will take over from its current holder Klaus Ren who will assist Mr Zebitz in a transition phase.
After many years with SAS, Mr Zebitz has last served as Emirates Country Manager Denmark as well as Area Manager Nordic Countries, with responsibility for all Emirates activities in the Nordic markets since June 2011.
Mr Ren is one of the founders of Jet Time, serving as the carrier's managing director since 2006.
-My 10 years with Jet Time have been a wonderful experience, and I will of course continue to follow the development of this carrier. However, the timing is perfect not least considering the extraordinary chance of getting a man with Mr Zebitz' experience and know-how on-board, says Mr Ren.
With some 700 staff, Jet Time today operates a fleet comprising 11 Boeing 737 passenger aircraft as well as six Boeing 737 freighter aircraft, and the company has also signed a contract with SAS to provide regional flights with a fleet up to 13 ATR aircraft.
