Dec 10, 2015 (newstodate): Delegations from Germany and Russia have signed an agreement regulating parts of the air services agreement, including freighter services by Russian carriers operating in Germany.
Under the new regulations, Russian freighter carriers, read: AirBridgeCargo, may operate two weekly scheduled flights between Frankfurt, Munich or Leipzig and destinations in the USA, as well as one weekly charter freighter flight along the same routes.
The agreement also secures 5th freedom rights for the Russian cargo carrier.
At the same time, the Russian party has requested the study of the possibility of granting the right to station IL-76 and An-124 aircraft at Leipzig Airport.
