Dec 16, 2015 (newstodate): The third Boeing 767-200F freighter for West Atlantic has now been put on Swedish registry - but delivery is running slightly behind schedule.
The aircraft is still at London Luton for EASA modification at Monarch Engineering, but it is slated for entry into production with West Atlantic by December 29, 2015.
As in the case of the preceding two Boeing 767 freighter aircraft, it will be placed on a contract with TNT at Liege for intra-European operations.
West Atlantic put its first Boeing 767-200F freighter in commercial service with TNT in April 2015, and the second freighter joined in October 2015.
All Boeing 767 freighters are sourced from West Atlantic's partner, the Ohio-based Air Transport Services Group, ATSG, that took a 25 percent stake in the Gothenburg-based West Atlantic Group in December 2013.
