Nov 09, 2015 (newstodate): The charter and ACMI carrier Small Planet Airlines is now an all-Airbus aircraft carrier.
-We have sold one of our two remaining 737-300 aircraft, and the other one is being redelivered to the owners. This is an interesting milestone in our development as we started with all-Boeing fleet in 2008, says Vytautas Kaikaris, Small Planet Airlines CEO.
The carrier is now taking in its 16th Airbus A320 aircraft on a lease contract with Aircastle, but according to Mr Kaikaris this aircraft will not enter commercial service until spring 2016, except for occasional ad-hoc operations.
