Nov 13, 2015 (newstodate): Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport is planning for an increase by 5.5 percent in traffic by foreign airlines during the summer 2016 schedule.
The airport claims that the the volume of movements will be upped by carriers including Air China, China Southern, China Eastern, Hainan Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, airBaltic, Air Serbia and Smart Wings.
In 2015, the airport has also seen a number of new airlines coming in, including SmartWings, Sichuan Airlines, Vueling Airlines, Air Moldova, RoyalFlight, Azurair, and Ellinair.
In the first seven months of 2015, Sheremetyevo International airport served 17,749,000 passengers, which is unchanged against 2014.
