Nov 09, 2015 (newstodate): Estonians have not been alone in planning for a life in the country's air services after the expected end of life of Estonian Air on November 7, 2015.
SAS was thus out immediately with plans for new air services between Tallinn and the three Scandinavian capitals.
Effective from next week, SAS will thus be offering four daily rotations on the route between Stockholm and Tallinn, three daily rotations between Tallinn and Copenhagen, and one daily flights connecting Tallinn and Oslo.
The Latvian competitor to Estonian Air, airBaltic is already operating flights from Tallinn to Riga, Berlin, Paris and Vienna and holds plans for a major expansion of its flights from both Tallinn and Vilnius as part of its strategy Horizon 2021, supported by its new investor, that foresees flights on 11 routes out of Estonia and Lithuania.
