Nov 05, 2015 (newstodate): Somewhat surprisingly, the Aeroflot LCC-arm Pobeda has aired its intention to set up flights to four destinations in Ukraine once the current tensions have calmed down.
Pobeda, or Victory, will thus fly from Moscow to Kiev offering 28 flights per week), to Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Odessa with 10 weekly rotations, and from St Petersburg to Kiev with 14 weekly flights and to Odessa three times per week.
As of now there are no direct flights between Russia and Ukraine since the start of this winter schedule.
Operating from Moscow Vnukovo Airport, Pobeda took to the air on its virgin flight on December 1, 2014.
