Nov 16, 2015 (newstodate): A new carrier is under formation in Iran - Tehran Air.
Preparations have been underway for two years and so far the coming fleet has been built up to comprising four Airbus 340 and seven Airbus 321 aircraft.
The start of services is late for April 2016 when the fleet will have grown to comprising 11 Airbus A340 and Airbus A321 of less than 15 years of age, and Tehran Air will be operating both national, regional, and international flights.
Managing the new airline will be Mohammad-Ali Ilkhani, CEO.
