Nov 25, 2015 (newstodate): The Danish charter and ACMI carrier Jet Time's Finnish subsidiary has been contracted to operate charter flights between Helsinki, in Finland, and Split in Croatia for two competing tour operators in summer 2016.
Already in 2015 the carrier has been operating a weekly weekend rotation between the two destinations for the Finnish company Finnmatkat, Finland's largest tour operator and part of TUI Nordic, and in addition to this Jet Time will also be flying a mid-week rotation for tour operator Thomas Cook Group's Tjaereborg Oy, Finland's third-largest tour operator.
Both flights will be performed with Boeing 737-700 aircraft in the period May 6 - October 7, 2016.
The Danish carrier's Finnish subsidiary Jet Time Oy was established in March 2014 to allow the carrier to perform flights to Turkey for Finnish tour operators as the Turkish authorities require carriers to fly into the country only if they have an own license and AOC issued by the country of departure.
