Nov 27, 2015 (newstodate): There seems to be nothing to dampen the growth in volumes lifted by the undisputed leader in Russia's cargo traffic, AirBridgeCargo.
In January-October 2015 the carrier again grew its volumes by 20.4 percent, y-o-y, to 505,555 tonnes, easily securing its lead position among Russia's Top-5 cargo carriers.
Second came by Aeroflot, 107,835 tonnes but down 7.3 percent, #3 Transaero with 44,026 tonnes and also down 22.1 percent, followed by Volga-Dnepr with 27,288 tonnes and down 20.8 percent, and finally S7 Sibir with 25,968 tonnes and down 14.8 percent, y-o-y.
Together, the Top-5 airlines accounted for 81.8 percent of all cargo carried on Russia's 35 airlines.
In total, the market was up 4.4 percent, y-o-y, to 859,301 tonnes of cargo during the first 10 months of 2015.
