Nov 30, 2015 (newstodate): The Lithuanian charter and ACMI operator Small Planet Airlines has now taken delivery of its 16th Airbus A320 aircraft.
The aircraft has been acquired on a lease contract with Aircastle and will remain on the sidelines until entering commercial services by the start of next year's summer schedule, except for occasional ad-hoc assignments.
Small Planet Airlines is now an all-Airbus carrier, having sold one of its last two remaining 737-300 aircraft, and redelivered the second to the owner.
