Oct 14, 2015 (newstodate): SAS has now confirmed its plans for a return of flights between Copenhagen and Iceland.
The carrier will launch flights on the route from March 27, 2016, offering one daily rotation with Airbus A320 aircraft.
Expectations are that the new route will be served all year round while this has still not been confirmed.
Today, the route is served only by Icelandair and WOW Air with a total of up to five daily rotations, while SAS has provided one daily year-round flight to Iceland from Oslo, in Norway.
