Oct 14, 2015 (newstodate): One carrier to take advantage of the suspension of direct flights between Ukraine and Russia after October 25, 2015, is Moldova Airlines.
The carrier will launch flights on a new route between Chisinau and Odessa, in Ukraine, on October 26, 2015, connecting to flights on the route from Chisinau to Moscow with just one hours transfer time.
But other airlines are taking similar action.
Thus the Belarus carrier Belavia will launch flights already on October 25, 2015, between Minsk and Odessa, also connecting to flights on its existing routes from Minsk to Moscow as well as St Petersburg after only a brief transfer.
