Oct 30, 2015 (newstodate): Measured in cargo tonnes, Vnukovo Airport is still the smallest of Moscow's three leading international airports in 2015.
The airport is, however, the only one to come up with positive growth figures, increasing by four percent, y-o-y, to 27,142 tonnes in January-September 2015.
Ranking #1 is Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport with 124,578 tonnes, but down 13 percent, followed by Moscow Domodedovo Airport with 96,634 tonnes, also down 17.6 percent.
As for mail volumes, Sheremetyevo also ranks #1 with ,660 tones, down 0.8percent, followed by Domodedovo with 13,190 tonnes, down 30.4 percent, and Vnukovo with 3,844 tonnes and down 44.8 percent, y-o-y.
