Oct 15, 2015 (newstodate): The Lithuanian aircraft maintenance provider FL Technics is now to add Airbus A330 maintenance capabilities to its portfolio of services.
The company has installed all technical equipment to provide maintenance of this new aircraft type and expects to achieve certification by the end of this year.
Based on the existence of some 150 Airbus A330 aircraft operated in Europe alone, the company expects the new offering to open up for an important new market, served at its main MRO facilities at Kaunas Airport.
FL Technics has also won a tender for the rent of 9,000 sq. m. aircraft maintenance hangar at Indonesia's Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to offer MRO services on narrow-body aircraft as Airbus A319/A320/A321, Boeing 737 CL and Boeing 737 NG.
