Oct 15, 2015 (newstodate): The charter carrier Small Planet Airlines GmbH is gaining momentum in the German market right from the start.
The carrier, a subsidiary of Lithuania's Small Planet Airlines, has been contracted by TUI, Germanys leading tour operator, to provide flights from Bremen and Paderborn to a range of Mediterranean leisure destinations from the coming holiday seasons.
Small Planet Airlines began offering its services to the German market only this month.
In the first half of 2016, Small Planet Airlines GmbH is planning to obtain a German AOC enabling it to operate flights under the German registration.
For the next summer season, a total 14 weekly flights with TUI Deutschland are scheduled, more than 300 in total.
Based in Berlin with two Airbus A320 aircraft from the start, Small Planet Airlines Germany is managed by Andreas Wobig and Oliver Pawel, former Germania CEO and CCO.
