Oct 14, 2015 (newstodate): The privately-owned Icelandic carrier Eagle Air is to add the fourth aircraft to its fleet.
The latest delivery slated for early November is a BAe Jetstream 32 aircraft, similar to the other aircraft in the fleet and capably of lifting 19 passengers.
A team from Eagle Air is now in Turkey to perform pre-delivery inspections and acceptance tests of the aircraft that is currently operating with a Turkish company.
Besides offering tourist flights, cargo and charter services from its base at Reykjavik Airport, Eagle Air also provides the country with ambulance and emergency services into Iceland's off-lying hamlets and islands.
