The carrier will start the seasonal flights three months earlier than in previous year, with the first operation already on Feb 11, 2016.
Delta will start out with thre weekly rotations on the route from New York JFK, changing to daily flights from May 1, 2016.
The carrier first introduced its summer flight services between New York and Iceland in 2011 with daily Boeing 757-200 flights operated as part of Delta's trans-Atlantic joint venture with Air France-KLM and Alitalia.
