Oct 07, 2015 (newstodate): With effect from October 1, 2015, Cargo Care has opened its new own office at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
At the same time, Cargo Care has named Danish national Henrik Mortensen its first Cargo Care Sweden AB CEO.
-Until now, Cargo Care has not had its own organization in Sweden, working for some years in cooperation with a partner. With this move, Cargo Care is enforcing a new strategy of growth and visibility in the Swedish market to gain its fair share of the business, says Mr Mortensen.
-From the start, Cargo Care Sweden operates two separate booking teams, one manned with three employees serving our IAG customers, another manned by two staff serving other airline customers including China Cargo Airlines, MAGMA Aviation, Coyne Airways, Premium JET, TAAG Angola Airlines, L.A.M. Mozambique, Air BOTSWANA, Atlantic Airways, WOW Air, and Afriqyiah Surinam Airways.
-The Chinese and the African markets will clearly be in the focus of our work, but we are going for over-all growth and expansion despite the current rather low-key development in the Swedish airfreight market. After all, each of our airline principals are unique in the markets and offer special services not easily provided by most others, says Mr Mortensen.
