Oct 27, 2015 (newstodate): New airlines continue to discover the potentials for flights to Iceland, primarily serving the tourism sector.
One new airline to post Iceland to its route map in 2016 will be the Czech carrier CSA that plans to offer two weekly rotations between Prague and Keflavik Airport during the period June 16 to September 19, 2016.
The flights will be operated with Airbus A319 aircraft.
Keflavik Airport is seeing its passenger volumes growing significantly, with a total of 3.8 mio passenger during January-September 2015, which is an increase by 24.8 percent, and equal to the full-year volume recorded in 2014.
