Jan 12, 2015 (newstodate): The British UK low-cost carrier easyJet has lost some of its appetite for flights to Russia.
Due to the declining demand in the market for flights between the UK and Russia, the carrier will cut one of two daily flights between London and Moscow from January 27, 2015, on three out of seven days, retaining two daily operations on and around weekends.
But from the start of the coming summer schedule from March 29, 2015, the carrier will cut further to be offering only one daily flight during the week.
On March 18, 2013, easyJet finally launched flights on its newly-won and much coveted route between London and Moscow after having seized the opportunity when BMI exited the route as a consequence of BA's acquisition of BMI from Lufthansa.
