Jan 20, 2015 (newstodate): The Ukrainian cargo charter carrier Cavok Air is in the process of obtaining permit to fly to the USA.
The documentation process is close to completion and after this the carrier is expected to launch cargo charter flights carrying spares and components in support of the AN-12 aircraft operating in the country.
Set up in 2011, Cavok Air now operates charter flights to and between European, Asian and African destinations with Antonov An-74 aircraft carrying up to 10 tonnes of cargo with capability for even rough landing strip operations.
In the fleet are also four AN-12 cargo aircraft carrying up to 20 tonnes of cargo.
