Jan 07, 2015 (newstodate): Lithuania's MRO provider FL Technics has landed a significant aircraft maintenance order from Turkey's second-largest carrier, Pegasus Airlines.
Under the contract, already in effect, FL Technics will provide the carrier with base maintenance of the carrier's fleet of Boeing 737 NG aircraft.
In the fleet of Pegasus Airlines are now 50 Boeing 737-800 aircraft with three more to be delivered.
The first aircraft is already undergoing a major C-check at the MRO provider's facilities at Kaunas, and similar work on the first batch of aircraft will be completed by May 2015, in time for the carrier's summer traffic.
