Jan 05, 2015 (newstodate): November 2014 proved another month of recession in Sweden's IATA airfreight export market.
A total of 8,021 tonnes of cargo was sold in the market by IATA carriers, a decline by 12.93 percent, y-o-y.
Eight out of 10 carriers on the Top-10 list were down in volumes, with #6, Korean Air Cargo and #9, Qatar Airlines Cargo as the only exceptions with increases by 66.12 and 11.79 percent, respectively.
All Top-5 carriers were thus down, including #1, SAS with 1,087 tonnes and down 19.23 percent, #2, KLM Cargo with 977 tonnes and down 19.47 percent, #3, Lufthansa Cargo with 907 tonnes and down 23.06 percent, #4, Emirates with 664 tonnes and down 5.14 percent.
Dropping the most steeply was #6, Finnair Cargo with a decline by 25.13 percent, y-o-y, to 513 tonnes.
