Jan 29, 2015 (newstodate): As late as Wednesday evening the ink was finally applied by Ryanair to the contract with its coming handling provider at Copenhagen Airport - Copenhagen flight Services, part of the Aviator Group.
-We are of course happy to land this new customer joining our current portfolio including easyJet and Transavia, says Torben Andersen, Copenhagen Flight Services managing director.
-From the start we will be able to handling Ryanair with the addition of a few extra staff and rotations among the current teams. As Ryanair unfolds it full program at the airport to up to 210 operations, we will of course recruit new employees but I expect this to be done flexibly and without causing any problems.
-easyJet is today our single largest customer with some 500 flights per month while Transavia is to grow its production at the airport from earlier four weekly to daily flights. But the operations are fairly well spread so adding the handling of Ryanair will not be an issue, says Mr Andersen.
