Jan 30, 2015 (newstodate): The Lithuanian ground handling provider Baltic Ground Services has landed fresh contracts by its subsidiary in the Polish market.
Starting from January 1, 2015, the company is providing fuel supply services to six new clients including Turkish Airlines, Wizz Air Hungary, Wizz Air Ukraine, SAS, TAP Portugal and Travel Service.
The carriers' flights will be supported at Warsaw Chopin Airport, Katowice International Airport and John Paul II International Airport KrakowBalice.
Operating since 2010, Baltic Ground Services Poland is fully licensed to provide ground handling services at six Polish airports in Warsaw, Krakow, Katowice, Gdansk, Wroclaw and Poznan.
Together with Baltic Ground Services Lithuania, it supports over 15,400 flights and provides more than 100 000 tons of fuel to its clients annually.
Apart from new contracts, in 2014 Baltic Ground Services Poland also extended into-plane fuelling contracts with other clients such as Alitalia, Aeroflot, and Czech Airlines.
BGS is a part of the Lithuania's Avia Solutions Group.
