Jan 29, 2015 (newstodate): Despite most of the airfreight leaving the country by trucks to continental airports, Norway's Oslo Airport did see growth in volumes in 2014.
A total of 125,965 tonnes of cargo and mail was handled at the airport in 2014, an increase by 5.1 percent, y-o-y.
Behind the growth was an increase by 9.4 percent in international cargo, to 97,446 tonnes, while domestic cargo continued to drop by 7.5 percent in 2014, to 28,520 tonnes.
