Starting from June 19, 2015, the carrier will be offering two weekly flights between Billund and Gdansk with Airbus A320 aircraft, expanding the airport's existing offerings to East and Central European destinations including Riga, Vilnius, Budapest and Prague.
Billund Airport will become Wizz Air's destination #108, and the new route will not least appeal to the approximately 30,000 Polish migrant workers residing in West Denmark as well as the 150 Danish enterprises with companies in the Polish market.
