Jan 22, 2015 (newstodate): The world's leading politicians, industrialists, opinion-makers and power-holders will be meeting at Davos, in Switzerland, these days.
Among many issues to be scrutinized and analyzed will, no doubt, be the world's ecological and environmental health, and means and ways to improve the outlook for the global future.
Their immediate contribution to the environmental issue will, however, be the fact that these personalities will mostly arrive by governmental or business flights on own aircraft.
It is expected that the event will generate up to 1,700 private, or VIP, flights to commercial airports including Zrich, St Gallen and Engadin from where distinguished gusts will be transported to the meeting places and hotels by cars or, in most cases, by helicopters.
So the environment will weigh heavily on their agenda.
