Jan 07, 2015 (newstodate): The ongoing crisis in the Russian economy under the stress from Western sanctions has taken its toll on one major Danish logistics company, Scan Global.
Scan Global set foot in the Russian market in 2008 with offices in Moscow and St Petersburg, later adding Vladivostok with all activities managed by its Russian company, OOO Scan Global Logistics.
The Russian company has, however, now been liquidated, endangering Scan Global's massive investments and casting serious doubts over the possibility of retrieving assets generated in Russia.
Scan Global has now fully retreated from the Russian market and cut any connections and obligations relating to the collapsed Russian company.
