Jan 19, 2015 (newstodate): The Danish charter and ACMI carrier Jet Times is reportedly in longer-term financial difficulties, but its cargo business is thriving.
-We have added one person in 2014 to expand our cargo sales activities, and this had paid off. We are currently bidding on several interesting projects, and if new contracts are landed we will probably need to take in one or even two more freighter aircraft, says Klaus Ren, Jet Time President & CEO.
-As of now, we have no immediate plans for adding new aircraft, though, but we have not seen any dampening of the airfreight market as otherwise reported by many other companies. Our freighter operations are doing just fine and we have a sustained appetite for more air cargo business, says Mr Ren.
In the fleet of Jet Time are now four all-freighter aircraft including two Boeing 737-300F and two Boeing 737-400F aircraft in addition to one Boeing 737-300 QC aircraft, with the all-cargo aircraft on firm contracts with TNT, based at Liege.
