Jan 16, 2015 (newstodate): Ryanair today begins a 70-day countdown to the opening of its 2nd Danish base at Copenhagen Airport.
Three low fares routes to London, Milan and Warsaw will start operating from the new base on March 26, 2015, with 10 more routes to be launched during 2015.
For at start, Ryanair will be basing four aircraft at the airport, with the first to come in March and three more to follow during 2015.
In the initial program totaling 13 routes, Ryanair will be operating a total of 28 weekly flights with over 100 weekly flights.
Ryanair has yet to announce which handling company has been selected to provide the carrier with services at the new base.
The choice will probably be either the Aviator Group's Copenhagen Flight Services, or newcomer to Copenhagen Airport by April 1, 2015 - Menzies Aviation.
