Jan 27, 2015 (newstodate): In 2014, three airfreight forwarders as usual accounted for over half of Sweden's total IATA export volumes.
#1 was DHL GLOBAL FORWARDING with 24,675 tonnes of exports, down 4.22 percent, y-o-y, but with 24.33 percent of the market.
Second was GEODIS WILSON SWEDEN AB with 19,321 tonnes, down 10.86 percent, but with 19.05 percent of the market.
Third came SCHENKER AB with 8,272 tonnes, up 8.51 percent and with a market share at 8.16 percent.
#4, KUEHNE AND NAGEL with 6,603 tonnes was down 24.69 percent, while #5, UPS SCS SWEDEN AB saw volumes sky-rocketing by 180.71 percent to 6,500 tonnes.
#6 was PANALPINA AB with a sharp decline by 22.12 percent to 4,792 tonnes, followed by AGILITY AB, up 4.98 percent to 4,005 tonnes.
#8 was DSV AIR & SEA AB with 3,568 tonnes, rising 50.87 percent, while #9 was AIRLOG GROUP SWEDEN AB with 2,367 tonnes, also up 12.20 percent.
Rounding up the list was #10, SCANAM GLOBAL LOGISTICS AB with 2,094 tonnes after increasing by 17.20 percent, y-o-y, in 2014.
In total, the Swedish IATA export market according to CASS Nordic was down 1.84 percent, y-o-y, to 101,430 tonnes in 2014, showing recovery towards the latter part of the year.
