Jan 26, 2015 (newstodate): In the IATA CASS full-year statistics for Sweden's export air cargo in 2014, SAS held its lead with a market share at 15.88 percent.
The carrier accounted for a total of 16,107 tonnes of cargo, down slightly by 0.6 percent, y-o-y.
#2, KLM Cargo was also down by 0.52 percent to 11,747 tonnes, and third on the list was Lufthansa Cargo with 10,313 tonnes, but decreasing 14.11 percent.
#4, Emirates grew volumes by 4.52 percent to 8,572 tonnes, followed by Finnair that however dropped 8.9 percent to 7,054 tonnes.
#6, Thai Cargo was up 18.77 percent to 5,4340 tonnes, followed by Qatar that was also up 18.87 percent to 4,877 tonnes.
#8, British Airways grew the most among the Top-10 carriers in 2014, with an increase by 19.48 percent to 4,703 tonnes, while #9, Singapore Airlines Cargo continued its downward slide in 2014 by dropping 14.04 percent to 3,990 tonnes.
Rounding off the list as #10 was Korean that decreased its volumes during the year2,04 percent, landing at 3,852 tonnes.
In all, Sweden's export cargo in IATA carriers was down 1.84 percent, to a total of 24,765 tonnes in 2014.
